Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell will speak to the media on Wednesday after Fed officials make an announcement on interest rate cuts.
Powell's press conference is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET and will follow the central bank's latest interest-rate decision and statement.
The Fed is widely expected to cut interest rates by a quarter-percentage point, to a range of 2% to 2.25%.
This would be the third interest rate cut by the Fed this year.
